When do I need to service my electric vehicle?
Servicing for your electric vehicle is determined by manufacturer guidance detailed in your vehicle handbook. In most cases, it’s recommended to have your electric vehicle serviced between 10,000 to 18,000 miles. If you’re not sure when your vehicle is due a service, feel free to give us a call.
Can an independent garage service my electric vehicle?
An independent garage with the correct tools, training and technology can carry out all necessary works on your electric vehicle. By having a second option to a main dealer, you could also save money on maintenance and repairs, and benefit from a more personalised service.
How much does a service for my electric vehicle cost?
Because electric vehicles carry fewer components than a petrol or diesel alternative, there is no reason why an electric vehicle service should be more expensive. At C R Allen & Sons, our fee for an electric vehicle service is £62 + VAT. As part of our fee, we’ll also charge your vehicle so you’re ready to go at time of collection.
